In the spring of 2002, the redesigned MINI was introduced to North America and MINI mania began building around the country as more and more folks ordered and took delivery of their “babies”. The nature of this car screams “FUN” and “DRIVE ME”, and along with that comes the desire to meet up with other MINI owners.

This group first assembled at Bolsa Chica State beach in Huntington Beach on August 18, 2002. Since then we have grown tremendously, embraced the need to become “official”, and now have well over 750 members, both nationwide and international.

We are the SoCal MINI Maniacs, although we sometimes refer to ourselves as MINIacs. We are simply enthusiastic about our MINIs! We crave motoring with our brethren on the back streets and twisty mountain roads, seeing what we are capable of with these great automobiles. We enjoy sharing our MINIs with others, swapping modification details, tips, stories, and great motoring routes. To do this, we like to meet up and go on unique drives together all around lovely Southern California. If you share our passion for these little cars, please JOIN US!.
