One of the great features of the new SCMM website is the ability to “Youify” it’s colors. You may have noticed a little set of graphical “flags” at the top of the screen just above the main menu bar. Now, if you were to assume that these are there just for a little visual stimulation you would be only “partly” correct! Aside from looking really nice and pretty-like, these provide you, the user, with the ability to customize (aka: “Youify”) the colors of the entire website to your liking!

So go ahead and click ‘em all you want! Try each one until you find a color scheme that works for you! Once you settle in on any particular scheme, it’ll stick around until you choose another, or until you clear the cookies on your browser, whichever comes first. Enjoy!

Happy Holidays from SCMM!
As a special gift to our members and prospective members we have just completed a total rewrite of the SCMM.ORG website. We have updated our entire system and look forward to including much more (and more interesting) content as we move forward into 2008. The new site, as you see it here, is only a foundation. We intend to add many really cool features that will make this site much more useful for both our members and prospective non-members alike.
In building the new site we had many goals in mind: Make it easy to add new content so that all of the club officers and governors can contribute on an ongoing basis. Make the site look a lot more “modern” than our old one (you gotta admit the old site was getting a little dated). Add features to the site that everyone can benefit from, some to attract new members, and some to keep the existing members coming back for more. Finally, make it foundational, so that as the club grows, expands and changes, the site can more easily accommodate whatever needs come down the pipe.
We hope you like the new look and feel of SCMM.ORG!
Sincerely,
The SCMM Officers and Governors.
