Hi Ellen, I have added you on the email list. We’re working on a group lunch at the Pahrump Valley Winery. Will update everyone as soon as we have finalized the details.

Hi George: will the Pahrump Winery lunch be on Saturday?

    Hi Martin,

The winery lunch in Pahrump will be on Friday, after we leave Death Valley. I’m still working on the lunch details with the winery and it is not confirmed just yet. Once we have it nailed down, I will let everyone know by email and will likely collect the money for the lunch ahead of time.

Just got my March work schedule and it looks like Patti and I will be joining you all for the day one run into Death Valley and the first nights stay at Stove Pipe Wells but then will have to break off from the group on day two and return home for work on Saturday. Hate to miss the Las Vegas part of the trip but Death Valley should be interesting. Sadly someone else in the group will have to take up the slack for me and make sure Las Vegas gets all the money I was going to deliver to them. I wouldn’t want them to not be able to pay their electric light bill because of me. It is always very impressive flying over that city as to just how bright it is at night.

This trip is shaping up very nicely. The Winery Group Lunch is now sold out, but if you missed the lunch option you can still have lunch at the winery, but you’ll be seated in the main dining room and will order off the regular menu.

We were hoping that all the rain this year would be triggering a wildflower super bloom in Death Valley, however it seems Mother Nature is not going to cooperate this year. Apparently Death Valley didn’t receive enough rain back in November to produce the rare super bloom. So expect an average bloom during out visit.
